DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Joshua Gordon (DL, Arizona Rattlers)
The Arizona Rattlers took down the previously undefeated Nebraska Danger 62-49 in Week 5. Rattlers DL Joshua Gordon did a little bit of everything on defense to help give his team an advantage all night long. Early in the second quarter, Gordon (6'1.Minnesota State Univ., Mankato) got through Nebraska's offensive line to block a field goal. Arizona would use the great field position to score a touchdown on the very next play. Later, the Rattlers defensive linemen did what few defensive linemen ever do: record an interception. Gordon dropped into coverage and picked off Danger QB Jesse Scroggins III. Gordon finished his night with one interception, one sack, two tackles and blocked a field goal for Arizona. Gordon and the Rattlers host the Cedar Rapids Titans in Week 6.
