DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nathan Lindsey (DB, Arizona Rattlers)
The Arizona Rattlers moved to a league best 6-1 record after taking down the Green Bay Blizzard 65-33 in Week 9. Facing a Blizzard team that looked unlike the team the Rattlers defeated in Week 4, the Arizona defense continued to clamp down on Green Bay's offense. DB Nathan Lindsey (6'0, Fort Hays State) helped secure a turning point in the game early in the third quarter. Lindsey forced and then recovered a fumble by Blizzard KR B.J Hill to help give the Rattlers back-to-back possessions. Arizona would then use the strong field position to score a touchdown two plays later, giving the team an insurmountable 45-20 lead. Lindsey finished his night with one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one tackle for loss and four tackles. The Arizona Rattlers face the Cedar Rapids Titans in Week 10.
